Through Silver Blossoms, we provide training and employment for at-risk women, as well as discounted housing for elders in need.

Silver Blossoms exists not only to provide a safe, comfortable, and beautiful home for mobility-challenged elders in our community, but also to fund the ongoing work of IFW's Tasalli shelter project.
Our trained caregivers go above and beyond to provide not only the best care possible, but also the kindness and love invaluable to all.
We foster inter-generational caring by encouraging the younger generation to be actively involved with our elders and vice versa.

Our Facility
Safety, Beauty, Comfort
Silver Blossoms is located in Nagenahalli, North Bangalore. The grounds are extensive, covering three quarters of an acre.
Our facility includes both dormitory and single units, including a self-contained unit with a kitchenette.
The facility has a nursing staff trained in geriatric care and a doctor on-call. A complete first-aid kit and vehicle are available for emergencies.
Sloping ramps, nonslip tiles in the bathrooms, grab bar, and railings make up the standard norms of safety and easy accessibility.
Our Activities
Enhancement, Engagement, Opportunity
Activities at Silver Blossoms are meant to enhance the lives of its elderly residents, to positively engage the surrounding community, and to promote opportunities for at-risk women.
To engage our community, local colleges and community groups send volunteers to interact with our residents for fun and sharing. Groups of children are also brought to play on our abundant grounds.
To promote opportunity, our facility is used as a training center for at-risk women in tailoring and design.
